The Tale of Eli and the Dinosaur That ROARS!

I could really use a miracle right now.

About a week ago I asked my nephew, Eli, what he wanted for his birthday. He didn't hesitate, or take any time at all to think about his answer....I'm pretty sure he had already thought about it a great deal :)

Eli: Oh, Aunt Kristin, I really want a dinosaur that actually moves and makes noise. I would be so happy if you could find me a ROARing dinosaur! Oh, that would be great!

So, silly Aunt Kristin assured him that I would find that dinosaur.

In the past week I have searched high and low for a 'roaring dinosaur'.

Fail.

I'm beginning to think these kinds of toys are extinct.....sorry, bad attempt at a joke :)

Anyway, last night I finally gave up and convinced myself that Eli probably didn't even remember that little conversation we had, and would be happy with any birthday gift I brought to his party.

Well, about an hour ago my phone rings and I answer to hear a little voice on the other end. It was Eli, inviting me to his birthday party on Wednesday.

At the end of the short phone conversation he says to me, "And Aunt Kristin, don't forget to bring that ROARING dinosaur with you!"

Oh Darn. He remembers.

This Aunt needs a miracle! I have approximately 48 hours to find a 'roaring dinosaur' in a small town with few stores.....all of which I have checked. Guess I'll be going back to double check :)

Dear Jesus, please send me a roaring dinosaur :)

Sorry Chuck, our internet crashed and I've been without for the past few days. Its back now though :)

Yes, I ended up ordering one from Toys R Us, and Eli was quite content knowing it will be coming in the mail in the next week :)
