To Answer Your Questions

Many people have been asking me about the herbal supplements that pharmacist Brad started me on. I've mentioned in several posts how much they have been helping me, and I would love if this post somehow helped a friend!

While I take these for the health of my Adrenal Glands, all these supplements are safe for anyone to take, and I highly encourage it.

So, the following is my daily 'Med Schedule':

With my breakfast I have a whopping side dish of...

2,000mg Fish Oil: to help heal my adrenal glands
500mcg Vitamin B12: ENERGY!
335mg Holy Basil: to help control anxiety levels. (Some mornings I take two of these, depending on how stressful my day is looking :-D)

In the evenings with dinner I take the same as the above list, adding my anti-depressant which is soon to be non-existent in my system! Whoopie!

Right before bed I take a Cortisol Manager. Cortisol is produced by your Adrenal Glands, and this function is supposed to slow down at night allowing your AGs to rest. However, mine were working over time! Since they were not resting at night, I would wake with too much Cortisol in my system feeling like I hadn't slept at all; my sleep felt pointless. That is the reason all my panic attacks happened within 30 minutes of waking.

So, the Cortisol manager helps my Adrenals relax, and allows me to wake feeling like I actually slept!

Again, I would suggest any of these supplements to anybody who is feeling like they might need help with energy levels/anxiety/sleep.

Thanks, this definitely fed my curiousity.

I am on vitamin B, too (a mixture of all) and with me it has repaired some sleep problems (the sleep seemed not to be deep for months and vitamin b6 made me sleep like a baby), amazing what "just" vitamins can do.

The Cortisol manager doesn't even seem to exist in Europe (tried to google it to properly understand what exactly it is)... interesting how medicine differs in western world.
